The fledgling Beachmere Classic Vehicle Club, in only its second year, was pleasantly surprised to win the trophy for Most Represented Club at the Caboolture Regional Car Club’s recent Show ‘n’ Shine and Swap Meet at the Caboolture Showgrounds, sponsored by Shannons. The trophy was happily accepted by President James Weston and to top it off one of members received the lucky door prize of a bucket of Bowden’s car products.
The club currently has 40 members, with a wide variety of vehicles, who enjoy regular get-togethers. General meetings are held at the Community Hall in Progress Avenue, Beachmere at 7.00pm on the second Thursday of each month.
