Bribie police are now patrolling Ocean Beach in their latest state-of-the-art Beach Buggy, much to the amusement of some of the locals. But make no mistake, cute and kitschy though it may appear, this fast all-terrain little Can Am Defender Pro HD10 can reach speeds of 100km per hour and go pretty much anywhere beachside in emergency or in pursuit of any wrong-doers making life dangerous for beachgoers, wildlife - and themselves.

So we all have an extra reason to be well-behaved at the beach this summer! I certainly wouldn’t want to be photographed in the back of one of these getting hauled off to the station. Keep an eye out for the QPol Beach Buggy near you.
