COMMUNITY BANK® BENEFITS SCORE GOALS

COMMUNITY BANK® BENEFITS SCORE GOALS

Benefits of Beachmere’s Community Bank® have already begun to make an impact, even before the Bank has reached its pledge total and opened its doors.

While a local Community Bank® can take some time to set up, the opening of the Bendigo Bank Agency ensured Beachmere locals could start receiving benefits of local banking at the earliest opportunity.

Beachmere residents have been taking advantage of local banking services, including access to “cash / change” and the capacity to deposit and withdraw cash funds, since opening the Agency with the support and assistance of the Margate Community Bank® Branch of Bendigo Bank.

Beachmere Rugby League Football Club (BRLFC) is the first group in Beachmere to benefit from the Community Bank® funds available through the Margate Branch.

President of the BRLFC, Scott Craig, said the Community Bank® fund had donated money to assist the Senior Rugby League teams.

“Funds from the Community Bank® assisted us to purchase new jerseys, shirts and training kit. We are very thankful of this much needed support and will support the Community Bank® in any way we are able, including using their banking services.”

“We encourage everyone to use the local Agency and look at supporting bringing a Community Bank® to Beachmere.”
