U3A Beachmere will commence it’s third term in mid July, continuing to offer a range of classes and workshops for locals.

Chair Mary Brown says a lot of favourite classes and subjects are back on the Program, but there is a host of new opportunities to learn and gain knowledge.

“Ukulele is one of the most popular classes, but this term we have Beginner Guitar as well.  Machine Quilting is taking new students as well as continuing for those who have some experience and skills.

Our DO-IN Gentle Exercise class starts the week and we end the week with Gentle Chair Yoga.  With our popular History and Nature Walk we have fitness throughout the week covered as well,” Mary said.

I am sure our Workshops will be as popular as ever with Beginner Mosaics, Drone Flying & Photography, the Space Race and the History of Powered Flight, as well as Millinery and Hat Making to get ready for the Melbourne Cup.”

U3A Beachmere classes are held at the Beachmere Community Hall in Progress Ave with Term Three commencing Monday, 15 July.  Email u3a@bang.org.au or call 0456 685 736.
