Beachmere ladies are a social bunch and can often be seen around the village lunching or enjoying a coffee. They get together for worthy causes on a regular basis and fund raise for various needs throughout the year.

But, on the first Friday of each month, Beachmere Area Network Group organise a lunch for no other reason – than lunch!

Ladies, Let’s Do Lunch turned five this November and the ladies gathered to lunch and celebrate.

Organiser Christine Dillon said she really enjoys organising and hosting the regular lunch date.

“BANG started Ladies, Let’s Do Lunch for women who don’t want to go out at night and as somewhere for new ladies to Beachmere to meet up. It’s a great way for ladies to find out what is happening in Beachmere as well,” Christine said.

“We have over 100 ladies on our mailing list and regularly get 30 or so ladies joining in. It’s just a fun, no stress, catch up with no agenda other than lunch with some lovely ladies.”

Ladies, Let’s Do Lunch is on each first Friday of the month (excluding January) at noon at the Beachmere Hotel, James Road. For further information email ladieslunch@bang.org.au or text Christine on 0413 739 573.
