Beachmere’s Sesquicentenary Celebrations have ramped up with the inclusion of a Street Parade and mini festival in Clayton Park.

The Zephyr Project band will entertain the crowds as they watch, or follow, the Street Parade with re-enactments and entertainment in the Park.

Organisers of the weekend Sesquicentenary Celebration say that the event has grown such momentum that the “Back to Beachmere” theme is really catching on.

From the Gala Book Launch on Friday 15 May, through to the Beach Activities on Saturday morning, the Street Parade from around 1pm and then the Bush Dance on Saturday night, culminating in a High Tea on Sunday afternoon, Beachmere will definitely be the place to be.
