BEACHMERE U3A HEADS INTO 2020

Beachmere U3A Chair, Mary Brown, says enrolments for Term One 2020 classes has been “amazing” with some classes nearing capacity.

“Our Term One Program classes commence Monday, 3 February and I am so very heartened with the response to our classes and workshops,” Mary said.

“Some of our popular workshops are nearly full but we have plenty of places across the Program.”

“We have something for everyone this term including our fabulous Watercolour Workshops in Floral and Seascape but, this term, we also offer two Acrylic classes – Beginner and Mixed Media.”

Other classes and workshops on the Beachmere Program include beginner mosaics, craft and card making using a Scan & Cut machine and a craft class. There are classes in Smartphones, Computing, Mind Matters as well as Intermediate Guitar, Beginner Ukulele and a more advanced Ukulele class “Just for Fun”. French for travellers and beginners as well as Gentle Chair Yoga and Orchid Growing.

There is something for everyone and Beachmere U3A’s aim to foster a friendly, stress free environment to learn and socialise would encourage all Third Agers to join in and get involved.

Term One starts Monday, 3 February with Sign On on both Thursday, 30 and Friday, 31 January at the U3A office. Beachmere U3A can be found at Beachmere Community Hall in Progress Ave and contacted on 0456 685 736 or at u3a@bang.org.au.
