Well the 30th Birthday of Pumistone Passage Probus Club, and it seems no time at all since our 25th!! Am I getting old? Of course not, how could I? We are such a fun and vibrant club.

Amanda , Sylvia , Penny and Kathy planned the event. We had a great night, the tables were decorated with flowers in the Probus colours of blue and yellow, the balloons filled with hydrogen floated above the top table ( Fortunately non drifted up to the rafters!!)The blue and yellow napkins were just right ( good old IKEA ).

Amanda Bronn the President welcomed everyone and

President of Bribie Island Rotary Jeff Eustace our guest of honour with his wife Deb said a few words. He actually made enquiries about joining our club once he retires from Rotary. Well he had better put his name down on the waiting list!!.

The party was at Woorim Golf Club which was an excellent venue. Drinks and canapes on the deck with the kookaburras hoping for treats. Then inside for a delicious meal with the musician providing background music. Kathy wrote a poem about some of the past Presidents who are still local ,a few secrets were revealed there and everyone had a great night.

A really good end to Amanda’s term of office as President. So what shall we do for the 35th Birthday better start planning I think.
