BEACHMERE HUB THE NEWEST “POP UP” ART SPACE

The Liz Heber Retrospective launched the Beachmere Hub as the newest “Pop Up” art space in the region.

On the last weekend in March, local residents and visitors from as far away as the Gold Coast, visited the Hub and viewed the Retrospective.

Elizabeth Heber was a prolific local artist in watercolour, acrylic, mixed media, silk painting and pottery. When she passed away in January Elizabeth left a large body of work which was available for sale at the Retrospective.

Elizabeth had strong connections with Zonta Interntional and Viva La Musica, with the choir performing on Sunday afternoon along with solo performers.

The Beachmere Hub is managed by local community group Beachmere Area Network Group (BANG) who were very pleased with the large turnout for the Retrospective and the support of the Hub as a “gallery” venue.

View Liz Heber’s work on line at www.bang.org.au/hub and information about the Hub as a function, hire or “pop up” art space is available from info@bang.org.au or 0456 818 017.
