Beachmere’s fabulous art exhibition FAB – Fabulous Art Beachmere – may have been an initial casualty of the recent South East Qld lockdown, but it was quickly rescheduled as an even bigger event. Beachmere Area Network Group (BANG), who stage the Exhibition, quickly regrouped and have organised the Exhibition to continue at The Hub until the end of August.

“This year we continued to have fantastic support from local artists with over 55 artists entering the Exhibition and we have over 170 works on display,” BANG President Karen Harris said.

“The Hub is a wonderful venue for the Exhibition, and our great new ‘art hanging system’ ensures all the works are displayed fabulously. We were certainly not going to disappoint so many artists and the community, who look forward to FAB and all it’s associated activities. Our Awards GALA is always well attended and our Guest Speaker always has a great story to tell. We include entertainment on, at least, one of our Exhibition days and then we encourage all our artists, and those who have purchased work, to attend the Artist Meet & Greet.

“FAB is a community Exhibition, and we encourage all the community to attend,” Karen said.

FAB continues until the end of August and is open Saturdays and Sundays from 10am. The GALA will be held Friday, 27 August and the Artist Meet & Greet on the final day, Sunday, 29 August from 2pm.
