Fatal traffic crash Bongaree

Investigations are ongoing following a fatal traffic crash at Bongaree on Monday July 14.  


Initial investigations indicate a woman, who was riding an e-bike and a Ford Falcon were both travelling east on Goodwin Drive when they collided about 8.30am. 


A 79-year-old Banksia Beach woman, who was riding the e-bike, died at the scene.


The driver of the Ford, who was the only person in the car, was not injured in the collision. 


Anyone who may have information or dashcam footage that could assist the investigation are urged to contact police.
