If you have a manufacturing business, you could be eligible for federal funding. The $280 million in funding is on offer in a bid to help manufacturing businesses grow and create new jobs as they help secure economic recovery across the country.

The matched funding is available through Round 2 of the Integration and Translation Streams of the $1.3 billion Modern Manufacturing Initiative (MMI). Applications are open for businesses in the six National Manufacturing Priority Areas: Space, Medical Products, Resources Technology and Critical Minerals Processing, Food and Beverage, Recycling and Clean Energy and Defence.

The MMI is designed to help position Australia as a globally recognised, high-quality and sustainable manufacturing nation.

Applications close January 14. For more information and to read the guidelines visit: https://business.gov.au/news/modern-manufacturing-initiative-round-2
