Partnership between the state government and the City of Moreton Bay with an investment of $500,000 has transformed Beachmere’s Clayton Park into a vibrant destination for residents and visitors alike, creating a modern and inclusive community space for local families and visitors alike.

The upgrades include new all-ages play equipment, improved recreational areas and enhanced accessibility, providing local children and families with more opportunities to get outdoors, stay active and enjoy a safe and welcoming community space close to home.

Member for Pumicestone Ariana Doolan said the completed project was a great outcome for the Beachmere community.

“Clayton Park is a much-loved community space, and these upgrades give local families a modern, safe and welcoming place to spend time together,” Miss Doolan said.

“This is a great example of a commitment being delivered for our community and shows what can be achieved when we invest in the places that matter to local families.

“Whether it’s children enjoying the new play equipment, families getting together or residents enjoying the outdoors, Clayton Park is now an even better place for our community.”

For Beachmere residents, the completed project means a refreshed community space designed to be enjoyed by people of all ages and abilities for years to come.
