Thirty-seven Toorbul & Donnybrook Seniors Club members attended a Phone Technology Seminar held as part of Seniors’ Month activities in October, when IT experts Tia and Daniel from Caboolture Library and members of the Caboolture Computer Club guided them through the mysteries and wonders of mobile phone useage.

With mobile phones having become such an important and valuable element of everyday life, members welcomed the opportunity to have their questions answered and to receive one on one tuition from the experts and also from younger local Denholm Willmer, whose assistance was very much appreciated.

After enjoying lunch many members stayed on to compare notes and share their new knowledge and skills with each other.

The event was funded by COTA (Council on the Ageing) Queensland, and the Club would like to thank that organisation and everyone who contributed to making the day such a success.
