The Morayfield Health Hub and B Braun have created state-of-the-art renal dialysis services and a world class patient healthcare experience for the local community, officially unveiled in October. Member for Longman Terry Young, who was at the unveiling, is an advocate and supporter of better health services for the community. He has highlighted the importance of the facility and how it will help take pressure off the public system.

“Our growing community needs access to more and more health services and thanks to the investment by B Braun and Health Hub Doctors Morayfield our community is getting this support,” Mr Young said. “Eligible private health and DVA gold card holders will have no ‘out of pocket’ expenses. To ensure we receive more of this type of private investment in the future we must make sure wonderful facilities such as this are fully utilised. So I encourage people to consider giving them a go.”

Located within the Morayfield Health Hub the new level two site which has been operating for 12 months has 17 dialysis chairs and is an advanced private dialysis clinic. This new facility is run by an expert care team of highly experienced nephrologists and renal nurses and is set to provide a world-class patient healthcare experience for the Moreton Bay community. The centre is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 7am-2pm. Phone 5432 7500 or email morayfield-reception.au@bbraun.com.
