A Message from Terry Young, Member for Longman

“On the 23rd of March last year, pubs and clubs had their livelihoods ripped out from under them when COVID restrictions were handed down for the first time.

The next 12 months for this industry has been shocking.

They've had to endure more rules, regulations and compliance than ever before.

So on the 23rd of March 2021, on the 12-month anniversary of these first restrictions I'm proud to have supported the National Local Day.

I encourage you, go and have a meal at your favourite local pub, restaurant or club and support these businesses as much as you can now who have had an incredibly hard 12 months.”
