BEACHMERE ASSIST- NEW TEAM AND NEW NUMBER

Beachmere Assist has a new team of Co-ordinators and a new dedicated contact number.

Since it started late last year this local advocacy group has grown its list of volunteers and started establishing itself in the local community as the “go to” for locals needing help.

New Co-ordinators Lyn and Dave have backgrounds in aged care and health and safety systems and are setting up procedures to cope with the increase in demand expected as more locals learn of the Drop In centre and assistance offered and available.

A newsletter has already been started and the Co-ordinators have plans for activities and information sessions in the near future. Assistance from both State and Federal levels has been offered to ensure this very important local project has all the resources it requires.
