Beachmere, once again, turned up in numbers to attend the Anzac Day service.

Police estimated the crowd at over 2000 people with the numbers joining in the

march to the Commemorative Service larger than any previous year.

Captain Steen Bisgaard, Royal Australia Armoured Corps, addressed the crowd

as Reviewing Officer.

A hearty breakfast for over 300 people was prepared and served at the RSL

following the service by volunteers.
