Catch a big one at the Blue Water Classic Bribie Island.

Would you like to catch a big one and get an adrenaline rush? Just imagine hooking onto a big marlin, working hard to pull it in, getting the photo, tagging it and releasing it back where it came from to live another day. There aren’t many pursuits in life that offer that feeling.

If that sounds exciting to you check out the 32nd annual Blue Water Classic Tournament, hosted by the Bribie Island Game Fishing Club that will take place at the end of November from Friday 27th to Sunday 30th.

The tournament is sponsored by Mancorp Quality Homes and features a $4,000 first prize for ‘champion boat’. Also on offer are a variety of other prizes including rod and reel combos and trophies for champion male, female and junior anglers (juniors fish for free with a paying adult).

Pacific Harbour Marina at Banksia Beach will host the tournament with food supplied for the Friday night briefing (COVID plans in place) along with a sit-down meal with the presentation on Sunday.

Event Details:

Entry Fee $200

Briefing: Friday November 27th 7pm

Fishing: Saturday 28th November 7am – 4pm and Sunday 29th November 7am to 3:30pm
