As a community, we express our deepest condolences to the Royal Family on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

After more than 70 years on the throne, Queen Elizabeth II has left a lasting legacy as our country’s longest serving head of state. As we reflect upon the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, many of us within the community may hold a special memory or two. Whether you were lucky enough to meet Queen Elizabeth on one of her visits to Australia (she came to our shores 16 times during her reign) or you were an avid fan from afar, there is no doubt she has influenced many lives, whether you choose to follow the monarchy or not.

With the crown now passing to King Charles III, we move forward into a new era, while remembering the Queen for the person she was and the role she fulfilled.
