St Columban’s claim TAS Netball and Rugby honours

St Columban’s College has capped off an exceptional Trimester 2 in The Associated Schools (TAS) competition, securing both the Netball Champion School and Rugby Champion School titles after a season of impressive performances across the two sports.  

St Columban’s Netball teams showcased their skill and consistency throughout the competition, recording 52 wins across the trimester. Their success was highlighted by the strong performances across multiple year levels.  

The college's Rugby program also enjoyed a standout season, securing 28 wins across all teams. A combination of determination, teamwork and depth across the age groups saw St Columban’s emerge as 2026 Rugby Champion School, cementing the strength of the college's Rugby pathway.  

These achievements reflect the commitment of St Columban’s student-athletes, coaches and wider school community, and reinforce the school’s growing reputation for sporting excellence within the TAS competition.  

St Columban’s players are now looking toward the Trimester 3 season, which kicked off Saturday July 18. They’ll go up against the seven other TAS member schools in football, basketball, volleyball and athletics.
